CPA Chief Financial Officer

Jimmy Mah, brings over 30 years of senior executive experience across the construction, mining, manufacturing, distribution, and property management sectors. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, he provides leadership across financial governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and organizational performance. His expertise spans strategic planning capital allocation, cost control, and systems improvement. Jimmy also has extensive experience working in partnership with First Nations communities.

James Finbow is our HSE Director, bringing extensive experience in health, safety, and quality management within the foundations industry. Since joining BAUER in 2011, he has led the development and implementation of robust safety systems across Canada, achieving ISO 45001 and COR certifications in multiple provinces. A NEBOSH Diploma holder and certified lead auditor, James is committed to driving continuous improvement in workplace safety. His vision is that “the health and the safety of our people come first.”

Jeffrey Pattison, P.Eng

Province Director, British Columbia

Jeff Pattison P.Eng, brings over 18 years of foundation experience across complex urban and infrastructure projects. Since joining in 2022, Jeff has led operations across British Columbia, overseeing safe execution and practical, solution-driven construction. Jeff’s portfolio includes a range of techniques spanning earth retention, cut off walls, soil improvement, to specialty grouting. He is focused on optimizing resources, supporting project teams and ensuring consistent, reliable delivery for clients across the region.

Steve Mallinson

Province Director, Alberta

Steve Mallinson is BAUER’s Province Director for Alberta; he brings over 30 years of experience in piled foundations and is a specialist in CFA and cast-in-place piling. Steve has delivered and led major foundation projects across Canada and the UK in both technical and senior management roles and is responsible for Aberta’s provincial operations and key project delivery. He is known for his practical leadership style, deep technical expertise, and consistent delivery in challenging ground conditions.

Jeffrey Prime

Vice President of Operations, Eastern Canada

Jeff Prime is our Vice President of Operations in Eastern Canada; his responsibilities expand from Ontario to Québec and the Atlantic Provinces. His extensive experience in major underground and heavy civil infrastructure projects enables a focus on tunnelling, deep foundations and large-scale municipal infrastructure. He centers on constructability, risk management and successful delivery of complex projects across Canada’s east coast.

Endre Balogh

M.Sc. Vice President of Pre-Construction

Endre Balogh is a long-standing member of BAUER Foundations Canada and leads the company pre-construction and estimating divisions. With BAUER since the early stages of his career, he has worked across Europe and Canada in both tendering and project delivery roles before joining BAUER Foundations Canada in 2010. Endre currently supports major tenders, early contractor involvement, and the development of innovative, value-driven foundation solutions. He is widely regarded as a key technical and commercial leader within the business.
